The project subject a theme of resources that are necessarily needed to sustain a living system and to prevent its collapse. Commonly questioned topic in a science-fiction genre usually oscilates between dystopian visions of cyberpunk and utopian dreams of solarpunk. Set in the environment of wasteland, desire is defined by the lack. It strives for water and guzzolene, it strives for spice melange, for new technologies and robotic objects. Meanwhile, within the clash of worlds, a concept of compassion, trust and care are practically imposible.
In this project I wanted to contribute to the discourse of science-fiction stories and ideas. For that purpose I designed a concept of a robotic character that is both a capsule that keeps a living plant alive and a friend.
